Arsenal player Nicolas Pepe is set to join French club Nice, according to reports.
According to Goal, Arsenal and Nice are yet to reach an agreement over a deal for Pepe, but negotiations are ongoing.
The Ivory Coast international, who has been left on the bench in Arsenal’s opening two English Premier League games, has two years left on his contract with the Gunners.
But with the look of things, the 27-year-old is not part of coach Mikel Arteta’s plans for the current campaign.
The report added that Pepe is expected to return to Ligue 1 for the duration of the 2022-23 season.
Although a deal is yet to be struck between the two teams, Arsenal expect a loan move to go through.
