Casemiro has sent an emotional farewell message to Real Madrid fans as he prepares to join English Premier League club Manchester United.
Man United on Friday night confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Spanish giants Real Madrid to sign the 30-year-old midfielder after they missed out on Barcelona star Frenkie de Jong.
In a post on his Twitter page, Casemiro wrote:
I have lived the most wonderful story that I ever thought. I hope to return one day to what will always be my home.
‘Not in a thousand lifetimes will I be able to give back to @RealMadrid all that you have given me. Forever… Hala Madrid!’
He vivido la historia más maravillosa que jamás pensé. Espero volver algún día a la que siempre será mi casa. Ni en mil vidas podré devolveros al @realmadrid y al madridismo todo lo que me habéis dado. Por siempre… ¡Hala Madrid! 🤍💜 pic.twitter.com/VH91DA3HJW
