Bayern Munich director Oliver Kahn has ruled out any possibility of the club signing Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.
Kahn said that Ronaldo will not fit Bayern’s philosophy, adding that the Bundesliga champions are not interested in making a bid for the Portuguese captain.
Ronaldo, 37, who recently told Man United that he wants to leave the club this summer, has been heavily linked with a move to Bayern, Chelsea and Napoli.
Kahn told German magazine Kicker:
As highly as I rate Cristiano Ronaldo as one of the greatest, a transfer wouldn’t be a fit with our philosophy.
Ronaldo, who joined United from Juventus last summer, scored 24 goals in 38 appearances across all competitions as his club finished trophyless last season.
