Liverpool forward, Sadio Mane has dropped his biggest hint yet that he will leave Liverpool this summer.

The Senegal international said that the people of his country want him to leave the English Premier League and that that is exactly what he is going to do this summer.

The Africa Cup of Nations winner is left with just one year on his contract with Liverpool, with Jurgen Klopp’s side keen on keeping him at the club.

Mane, however, is said to have told the Reds he wants a new challenge after six thrilling seasons on Merseyside.

And Bundesliga champions Bayern are said to be in the driving seat for Mane’s signature in the upcoming transfer window, and are reportedly set to offer the forward a three-year contract.

Mane, who is on international duty with Senegal ahead of an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin today, said:

Like everyone else, I’m on social media and I see the comments.

Isn’t it between 60 to 70% of Senegalese want me to leave Liverpool? I will do what they want.

We will see soon! Don’t be in a hurry because we will see this together. The future will tell us.

Since joining Liverpool from Southampton for a fee of around £34m (N17.6b) in July 2016, Mane has gone on to score 120 goals in 269 appearances for the Merseyside club across all competitions.
